Screenplay -- The Stranger

Novel -- How To Draw A Person
I am currently writing my first full-length screenplay. LOGLINE: After surviving a near-death experience, Julia is haunted by a mysterious woman who appears whenever she feels most present. As the stranger begins intervening to save her from a series of near-fatal accidents, Julia becomes determined to find out who she is and why she seems so desperate to keep her alive. Think Donnie Darko and Stay (2005) had a baby!
A folk/rock concept album about a brother and sister who had two drastically different upbringings. The brother who stepped into a life of crime and the sister who grew to please everybody else and slowly shrink her identity into a clean slate.
Jennifer Alhurst is trying to build a life of her own when a chance encounter with a mysterious stranger turns everything upside down. Will knows how to disappear. He spent years inside a violent criminal world before finally walking away, but the past isn't finished with him yet. And now Jennifer is in danger because of it. Forced into hiding together, fear slowly gives way to something neither expected. Between quiet meals, sleepless nights, drawing lessons, and stolen moments of tenderness, Jennifer and Will begin to discover that safety can feel a lot like love. But when the people hunting Will find them, loving her may mean leaving her behind.
